Last updated: September 25, 2026. Lymbi is a personal wellness app operated by LimbyAI LLC ("Lymbi", "we"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
With your permission, Lymbi reads the following from Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android): steps, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, weight, height, body temperature, and sleep. Lymbi never writes data to Apple Health or Health Connect.
Data from wearables and other apps, such as Garmin, Oura, Fitbit, Samsung Health, or Withings, reaches Lymbi only through Apple Health or Health Connect, and only when you have allowed those apps to share with Apple Health or Health Connect.
Readings are summarized on your device into daily values (for example, a daily step total, average heart rate, and nightly sleep hours) and stored in your Lymbi account. We use this data only to provide features to you: your dashboard and trends, the categories you explicitly choose to share with people you select, and, only if you turn on AI features, the AI assistant described below.
We never sell health data. We never use it for advertising, marketing, or data mining, never share it with advertisers or data brokers, and never store it in iCloud. The use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can stop access at any time. On iPhone, open the Health app, then Sharing, Apps, Lymbi. On Android, open Health Connect, then App permissions, Lymbi. You can also disconnect in Lymbi under Settings, Connections, and choose to delete the data Lymbi imported.
The AI assistant (named Maggie by default) is optional and stays off until you allow it. It is powered by OpenAI. When you allow AI features, the messages you send and a summary of your last 30 days of health metrics (averages), mood check-ins, and up to three recent journal excerpts are sent to OpenAI's API to generate chat replies and weekly insights. OpenAI processes this data as our service provider to produce your results and, under OpenAI's API data policies, does not use it to train its models.
You can turn AI features off at any time in Settings, AI assistant. After that, no new data is sent to OpenAI. AI output is informational wellness support, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
We do not sell personal information.
Data is stored with our cloud database provider and sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Sign-in sessions are kept in your device's secure storage. We keep your data while your account is active.
You can view and edit your information in the app, disconnect services, turn off AI features, and manage notifications. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings, Account, Delete my account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile and all health, mood, journal, finance, AI, and sharing data. To exercise any other privacy right, contact us.
Lymbi is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children.
